Vuáskujävrluobâl Open Wilderness Hut (so called Ahvenlampi)

Open wilderness hut for 3 persons.
Location
Northern Lapland, Inari region, Tsarmitunturi Wilderness Area.
Vuáskujävrluobâl, coordinates: Euref-Fin (~ WGS84) lat: 68° 40.8075' lon: 28° 34.8845' ETRS-TM35FIN: N: 7619520 E: 564159.
The hut is located about 300 metres west of Vuáskujävrluobâl Pond, and less than one hundred metres east of Harrilampi Pond.
Previously, the hut used to be a fence guard's cabin. Currently it is an open wilderness hut maintained by Metsähallitus.
Facilities
- A wood-burning stove and a gas cooker.
Notices
- Pets are allowed in the hut, but only with the consent of the other users of the hut.
- Safety on hiking.
- There are no waste bins at the hut, so you must take your waste with you when you leave. Read more about Hiking Without Littering.
