Location

  • Northern Lapland, Municipality of Inari, Urho Kekkonen National Park.
  • Rumakuru, coordinates: Euref-Fin (~ WGS84) lat: 68° 23.0016' lon: 27° 30.1262'  ETRS-TM35FIN: N: 7585690 E: 520642.
  • The hut is situated 6 km from Saariselkä in the valley between Vahtamapää Fell and Vävypää Fell.

Facilities

  • A wood-burning stove.
  • A campfire site, a woodshed and a dry toilet nearby.

Notices

  • The hut is only for resting during day trips. Overnight stays are not allowed.
  • Pets are permitted in the hut, but only if other visitors consent to it.
  • Safety on hiking.
