The Metsähallitus customer service points located closest to the Luiro Mires are Pyhä-Luosto Visitor Centre Naava
There are Finnish-language information boards at the starting point for Sokanaapa Nature trail as well as along the trail, which feature information on mire nature.

The closest shops and other services can be found at Pelkosenniemi (pelkosenniemi.fi, in Finnish).
There are no constructed campfire sites in the Luiro Mires. Visitors are, however, allowed, without a separate permit, to light campfires in the terrain using fallen branches, twigs and shrubs as kindling.
It is prohibited to light campfires if the wildfire warning is in effect. Check the current warnings (ilmatieteenlaitos.fi).

There are no drinking water points in the Luiro Mires, at which the quality of the water is regularly monitored, and therefore visitors should bring their own drinking water with them.
The surface water from the lakes, rivers and brooks must be boiled before use. Water in the springs and running water in the brooks is usually good for drinking. However, the quality of the water cannot be monitored, so the use of natural water is at your own risk.

There are no waste bins in the area. Measures should be taken in advance to avoid taking unnecessary waste into the area. Biodegradable waste should be placed in a toilet or composter, and small amounts of clean paper and cardboard can be used as kindling in a campfire. Take all other waste out of the area. There is a dry toilet on Sokanaapa Nature Trail, which can also be used by the disabled.

Camping in tents is allowed in the Luiro Mires as an Everyman's Right (environment.fi). The area is for the most part comprised of mire, and thus the spots best suited for camping are forests along the edges of the mire or forest islets within.

The Sokanaapa Nature Trail is accessible. There is an accessible dry toilet on the nature trail near the bird watching tower. NOTE! The trail is at the moment in very poor condition as is not now accessible.
