Puukkojärvi Open Wilderness Hut
This wilderness hut was previously the sauna for a loggers' cabin and has been renovated for its present use. It is situated in the centre part of the national park on the isthmus between Lakes Puukkojärvi and Suottajärvi. It is by the hiking trail of Laukkujärven lenkki, biking trail Sininen saavutus as well as by the Somero Canoe Route.

Waste Management
Every hiker is responsible for his or her own waste. Take all the waste out of the area: either to the recycling point at Hossa Visitor Centre or home. Read more about Hiking Without Littering.

Overnighting
Many kinds of Huts for the Hiker. Please note, that it is not allowed for big groups or commercial groups to overnight in Open Wilderness Huts and in Day-use Huts.
Outdoor Etiquette

2. Mainly use marked trails.
3. Camp only where it is allowed.
4. Light your campfire only where it is allowed.
5. Do not litter.
