Own paths
If you know how to orientate, in the National Park it is possible to hike with a map and compass also outside of marked trails. The restricted areas are marked in outdoor maps and brochures.
Accessibility at the destination
- Seitseminen Nature Centre and its grounds are accessible.
- Also Kovero grounds, and the east side of the Nature Trail in Multiharju old-growth forest are accessible.
- On the sandy road going to Lake Pitkäjärvi, and at the surroundings of Pitkäjärvi Loggers' Cabin the terrain is not difficult.
- The portion of Soljanen mire trail which is accessible is 0.5 km long. At the trail's starting point there is an accessible cooking shelter. Additionally there is an accessible toilet. Another accessible toilet is at the Nature Centre.
