Services for Boaters at Luonteri

The coordinates are given in accordance with the WGS-84 coordinate system (degrees, minutes and decimal degrees) and in the ETRS-TM35FIN plane coordinate system. Charts printed in blue colour are published in WGS 84 with international symbology. Charts printed in green colour are published in the national coordinate system (KKJ). Excursion Harbours

At Hiidenlahti Bay, on the southern shore of Neitvuori at the bottom of the bay. EUREF-FIN (~ WGS84) lat: 61° 39.99' lon: 27° 44.81' ETRS-TM35FIN: N: 6837255 E: 539543.

  • From the fairway west of Petäänsaari Island.
  • Anchor and pier, which is only intended for the daytime mooring of boats.
  • Excursion harbour: At the Hiidenmaa farm, approximately 200 metres from the Neitvuori parking area, is a campfire site, a dry toilet and a path to the top of Neitvuori Hill.
  • The City of Mikkeli is responsible for maintenance of the harbour and Metsähallitus is responsible for the campfire site at Neitvuori.

  • Pier, anchor.
  • Excursion harbour: cooking shelter, lean-to shelter, campfire site, mixed waste management, dry toilet, information board.

Korvensaari, cove on the southeast shore. EUREF-FIN (~ WGS84) lat: 61° 36.56' lon: 27° 45.21' ETRS-TM35FIN: N: 6830891 E: 539970.

  • 12 metres between cables.
  • Well.
  • Pier, buoys (6), anchor.
  • Excursion harbour: cooking shelter, mixed waste management, dry toilet, information board. Sauna for harbour guests - no advance reservations needed. A fee is charged for the use of the sauna. The Saimaa Recreation Area Association (saimaanvirkistysalueyhdistys.fi) is responsible for the management of the sauna.

Karihiekka, peninsula on the western shore of Uimasalo. EUREF-FIN (~ WGS84) lat: 61° 36.59' lon: 27° 53.76' ETRS-TM35FIN: N: 6831043 E: 547528.

  • Exposed to westerly winds.
  • The sandy beach between the rocks is ideal for swimming.

  • Stone Age settlement 300m.

  • A relatively popular sheltered port, which is not recommended for families with children due to steep rocks.
  • 2 to 5 moorings.

  • To the west of Heponiemi, watch out for rocks that are marked on the nautical chart.
