Arrival by public transport
Bus lines 908 and 908K stopping at the Kirkkonummi train station on weekdays take you close to the area (Volsintie stop Sigurds, Ki1067), Helsinki region traffic (hsl.fi), and HSL route guide (reittiopas.fi). The distance from the bus stop to the starting point of the trails in the Meiko hiking area is just over two kilometres. First, take the Buraksentie road, then Myllykyläntie road and finally Korsolammentie road to arrive. There are no buses on Volsintite on weekends.
Arriving by car
Address: Korsolammentie 44, Kirkkonummi.
Located northwest of the centre of Kirkkonummi, Meiko is easily accessible by car. When approaching from the centre of Kirkkonummi, turn left from Kirkkonummmentie to Överbyntie. After about 200 metres, turn right to Volsintie. Drive Volsintie for about 1.5 km to the Myllykyläntie intersection. Continue along Myllykyläntie road for 2.5 km and then drive down Korsolammentie road for about 400 metres until you reach the Meiko parking area which is the starting point for the trails.
