Kaunissaari Nature Information Hut
The small Kaunissaari Nature Information Hut located in the Gulf of Finland National Park houses an exhibit on the national park called "Tyrsky tuo ja vie".

Directions
Kaunissaari Island is situated in the north part of Gulf of Finland National Park. Kaunissaari Nature Information Hut lies by the guestharbour of the island. The nature information hut can only be reached by water.
By Own Boat
- When coming to the the island and the nature information hut you will dock at Kaunissaari Guest Harbour (60°20,6' 26°46,7', depth 1.9 - 2.4 m). The nature information hut is right next to the harbour. Visitors may dock overnight in the harbour for a fee.
By Public Transportation
- During summer there is a regular boat service (visitkotkahamina.fi) from the town of Kotka to the island.

"Tyrsky tuo ja vie" Exhibition
The nature information hut has an exhibit called "Tyrsky tuo ja vie" in celebration of the Gulf of Finland National Park's twentieth anniversary. The exhibit tells about the national park's development and its natural features.
Services in Kaunissaari
At the southern end of Kaunissaari Island there is an old fishing village which has kept its idyllic atmosphere. Services on the island include the guest harbour, a shop, a fuel distribution point, a restaurant and a place where visitors can lodge overnight.
