Rules for Using Wilderness Huts
Open Wilderness Huts
- For hikers and skiers as resting points or for overnight stays, only for 1 or 2 nights.
- No overnight stays for business customers or larger groups.
- Larger groups (>5) should use their own tents or reservable and rental wilderness huts as overnight accommodation.
- Please make room for visitors arriving after you.
- Be considerate of other visitors.
- Huts are small, so please leave large backpacks outside the hut.
- Smoking is not allowed in the hut.
- Do not use a gas cooker for warming the hut.
- Spare firewood.
- Keep the hut and its surroundings tidy.
- Before leaving bring chopped firewood for the next visitors.
- Empty the water bucket, and take the ashes out of the wood stove with the metal container to the place outside marked for them.
- Leave no trace in nature. Dispose of waste properly. Follow the hut's rules for waste management.
- Before leaving, close all the hut's doors and windows properly.

- Only for daytime use as a resting point for hikers and skiers.
